deep well cooker anyone ...?

vieja_gwJuly 19, 2013

I had an old ? deepwell cooker (think it was called!) that was all one piece metal (inside metal wasn't removable) that had a temperature dial setting -NOT the 'low', 'med' or 'hi' settings on most crock pots now. I preferred it to the crock pot I have for cooking a potroast with potatoes & veggies as I could change the various temp settings. The cooker finally quit & am wondering if there are such things any more to buy? Think it held about 4 or 5 qts.

Does anyone know what I am referring to & is it still available? I am searching the thrift stores .. hoping!
