Schulte-Ufer profiline

chloedepalaisJune 18, 2008

I recently purchased a very expensive set of Schulte-Ufer profiline in Berlin where I was assured that it was made in Germany. It reacted poorly when I cooked with it and after any number of emails to reps and supervisors I was finally told that Schulte-ufer was made in CHINA.

E-gads, beware of lead poisoning. LOL. Can you return it? Usually high quality cookware comes with a good guarantee.

Can you clarify what you mean by "reacted poorly"? I checked out the German site and also an American distributor. From the description it sounds like a fairly standard stainless steel disk-bottom cookware.
