My magnet sticks to 18/8 stainless cookware, induction capable?

rozuApril 11, 2011

I have 18/8 stainless cookware that I have had for over 25 years. It looks like new and works beautifully. I ordered an induction cook top for my kitchen remodel. These pans pass the magnet test so I thought I didn't need new cookware. The pans say Multi-Ply 18/8 stainless on the side. They are called Amway Queen. I was going to buy a portable induction burner to use during the remodel but all the burners state they don't work with 18/8 stainless. Now I am wondering if these pans will work. Any ideas?

If it passes the magnet test, you should have no problem.

Glad to hear. My magnet sticks like a charm so I was hoping someone would reassure me. Thank you
