good food processor?

cyumickeyApril 26, 2006

I would like to get a food processor. I registered for the Kitchen Aid pro FP for my wedding, but didn't get it. Now I am questioning whether or not I need something that massive, or if I should just go with a cuisinart.

Any recommendations? thanks!

Kitchenaid and Cuisinart are both well loved by Cook's Illustrated and Consumer's Reports. Whether or not you need the KA Pro depends on what you are going to do with it. If you will use it all the time and/or make dough in it, the Pro may be the right choice.

I have a Cuisinart and use it all the time and make dough in better than "fine"...and doesn't take up a lot of space!
