Got any 'cons' for 3 inch deep cake pans?

anitadehoffFebruary 6, 2010

Can I use it in place of a 2" deep pan? Will the high walls negatively impact the end product if I only fill 1/4 to 1/3 of it with batter?

Thanks in advance,

Anita
