My husband has an old Toshiba computer that is very slow. He only uses it to play games and read the news.I was wondering if I could remove some programs he doesn't use such as office stuff. Also MSXML4.0
and Microsoft Visual C+ 2005

Hi clairdo2,

They do not take up much space, and do not impact 'performance', so I would just leave them.

On any system that is running slowly, particularly an older one, a user should be more concerned about what's running in the background hogging resources.
