Spice Rack Labels

zzeasyJanuary 10, 2006

My wife got a spice rack for a gift and some of the spices included (coriander, fennel seed, e.g.) aren't among those that she uses frequently, yet some of those that she does use (crushed red pepper, sage, chili powder, ...) don't have a jar. Its easy enough to switch and fill the bottles with the spices we use, but the lids are all pre-painted/printed with the contents. Any suggestions- ??? Thanks!

How about buying a label maker? Brother makes a very nice hand-held model (a PT??). I have two that I constantly use for labeling all sorts of items around the house....DH scoffed at the idea when I purchased the first one...now he uses them almost as much as I do.
