I just opened a Lodge Logic deep fry pan that was a gift. I was surprised to discover that the lid has those little spikes like Staub. Just thought I'd mention it.
Those little spikes and nipples go way, way back, Kitchen. Just one of several methods or creating self-basting pots and pans.
With one excetion, I don't like any of the three or four types I have, because they either pull the cure right out of the cover, or are a PITA to clean.
