I have a windows 7 computer.
Avast tells me I need adobe air.. do I?
Adobe Integrated Runtime, also known as Adobe AIR,
It's for building Internet applications.
Avast is telling you it needs updating not sure if Avast watches over programs like that, but I'm sure you don't need adobe air.

Avast has a popup that tells what needs to be updated.
Looks like I don't need it so I'll put it in ignore.
It is in add & delete so should I just delete it?
Yes I would remove it. You will never use it.
Thanks zep..on my way to remove it.
I know it is a Anti virus software BUT it does tell me when a main program like Thunderbird & Firefox is not up to date...the adobe ones is another one it warns U about if they aren't up to date. It doesn't do the windows updates. I had a update on avast a few days ago. Now when I put the curcer on the rolling ball a popup says, "everything is good" then it gives me the (version I think) which is 220.127.116.116 under that is 131024.0
Anyway mine is up to date as I try to keep things updated for security.
