Use Shoe Moulding in Tile Bathroom / Kitchen?

We just re-tiled our bathroom and kitchen and am not sure about using shoe moulding over the tile? I am wondering what the "standard" is for installing shoe moulding in tiled areas.

We did, to make the trim match throughout the house. About the only place we didn't add shoe molding was in closet interiors.
