I have an HP Officejet 6310, and when I go to scan it says that the scan function is not working. I have reloaded the software and updated everything, but I still can't scan. Any thoughts?
A search with Bing shows many answers including one from HP's forum -- but I didn't look at any of them.
I just had this happen to me with my HP printer/scanner. I found that, if I unplugged it and waited a while, plugged it all back in...it would then scan. Mine would print but it wouldn't scan...the unplugging thing fixed the problem
I have tried the unplugging, it didn't work, but I will try again tomorrow.
