Shower Drain Finish

jo1972November 6, 2012

Using POLISHED CHROME fixtures. Questions:

1 Will this drain look OK in SATIN STAINLESS?

2 Will it be a pain in the neck to keep clean in POLISHED STAINLESS (because of the exposed metal)?

It does not come in polished chrome.

Yes, I think the drain choice should be about the best metal, or what your plumber wants to use, or if you're using Kerdi, then the Kerdi drain, etc. Tile guys like square drains, round drains are harder to cut around but if they shift during pouring it's not a noticable thing, etc.
Just get a good finish that will hold up to all sorts of things doing down or touching the drain.

Oh that's pretty. Who makes it? I'm looking for something that won't let as much hair go down the drain as the average drain cover. Wonder how this one would fare.
