Anyone have input on Vigo or Skyline frameless enclosures?

cathy725November 3, 2012

Hello. I have been researching frameless enclosures. I have seen the skyline and vigo models which have the roller hardware on the top of the shower door so the bottom has no hardware. Has anyone used these enclosures? Are they good/great/terrible? They are expensive as far as I've seen.

I want a nice enclosure for a tub to shower conversion. It must be a slider due to the small area. I will have a lip around the edge of the shower. Door/glass will be across the front of the enclosure so no turns.

My main goal is to not have any hardware at all on the lip where the shower opens. Maybe I'm overthinking this since I can't tell on many websites what is or isn't on the open lip of the enclosures from the pictures.

Would love some help from you who have the knowledge and experience!! Thanks.

The vigo is fine. (Don't know anything about skyline.)

But you can probably get one custom made from a local glass shop for about the same price and then you can probably avoid that ugly brace vigo uses.
