Shower faucet won't let water get hot!!

amackNovember 13, 2008

Hey, My shower faucet is one of the Delta 1400 series and it won't let the water get any warmer than "warm". I am guessing there is a scald guard on the faucet. Any ideas how to get that thing to stop working??? I am open to suggestions and help.

Under the cover there should be screws to adjust the balance. You want to make sure the hot side is open all the way, then throttle the cold until the desired level is reached. If needed, RTFM.
