How would you top this 1/2 wall of tile?

The pencil strip can go either way - fat part on bottom (left) or fat part on top (right).

I have 30 min to let them know - thoughts appreciated!

I would choose fat part on top - looks better to me and straight surface seems easier to keep clean.

No!!

The fat part on top is completely incorrect!!!

The correct way is to install it with the skinny side down.

It's 4x10. We wanted it horizontal but it was a little bowed, so we opted to turn it the other way. I'll post pix soon with it grouted. I really like how it turned out but for an italian tile, I was surprised it was bowed. The tile guys said it was quite common.
