Hi. Has anyone used the wood look porcelain tile on the bathroom floor and a different tile in the shower and around the bathtub? If so I would love to see pictures.
Try the thread under "Flooring."
We did. We used the wood look tile on the bathroom floor. On the shower floor we used the same tile as on the shower and bathroom walls, except in the 1x1 or 2x2 size. In the pictures the wall and floor tile looks white, but it is the linen look tile. It is white but has a brown color running through it. We like the small squares for the shower floor, because it is not slippery at all. I am not there to take better pictures. These are pictures I already have.
and here is the picture of the shower. I hope the pictures help.
Thanks. Your bathroom looks great.
robin - I don't normally like the horizontal strip of tile that is often used in showers and bathrooms as a design technique to contrast with and offset the main field tile. But I like yours. Maybe because the "blend" of the carmel color with the off white is very subtle and almost soft and has a "spa" look. Very nice.
Robin, your bathroom is beautiful. The wood look tiles make it look warm and inviting, while the contrast of the shower floor, makes it look clean...VERY NICE!
