AT&Tas ISP -- a story

albert_135July 18, 2014

A few weeks ago we mentioned AT&T as ISP and how there billing was a mess. Here is our latest story

They sent us a note, they are no longer supporting our configuration and we must call in to arrange an upgrade.

We called. The upgrade was $7 per month more, plus, $100 installation. We said no and hung up!

Called them back. This time the upgrade was $4 per month less and installation a was free.

If it's not AT&T then it's another cable/telco/ISP. Read Ryan Block's recent adventures with Comcast.

It's a scam on a grand scale and the only thing that the consumer can do is be informed and persistent. Unfortunately there are many, many people paying far too much for this stuff.
