Quiet single wall oven fan? anyone?

Help!!!

Looking to replace my wall oven because the fan is too loud to eat in the same room with (well over 1 hour of loud fan motor sound).

Other posts suggest this is fairly common with wall ovens. At $2000+ to replace I don't want to spend the money and keep the problem.

Any specific suggestions or good experiences? Thank you!!

Just curious. What brand is your current oven? How old? It might help others to avoid the same problem.

My oven is a GE electric convection oven. It's 14 yrs. old.
I went to my local appliance store and was told that most likely a new oven would do the same.
I'd like to hear from anyone who owns a Wolf L or E series wall oven has had the same experience (I know there is big delta between a GE and Wolf). Thank you.

I'd like to hear about this as well. My mother has a GE Profile convection oven with the same issue. The oven performs well, but the fan is loud and runs forever and you can't turn it off. The GE manuals all mention that this is "normal," so they obviously have gotten complaints. I don't see that statement in all oven manuals.

I've had my Dacor double wall ovens for 5 years. The fan is exceptionally quiet. You have to stand next to the appliance to even hear the faint whir and that's the same even if both ovens are on. I don't know what I'll do if I ever have to replace these. We have a large open kitchen with ceramic tile there nothing was done to add any extra sound deadening to the ovens.
