Racks on Capital Culinarian, manual vs. self clean

zeebeeSeptember 26, 2013

Hi all,

Are the racks for the manual-clean CC still less good than those for the self-clean? Reading old threads, I'm getting that the manual has at least one anchored rack, while the self-clean model has fully adjustable and removable racks.

Has this changed since the Culinarian's introduction? The last in-depth rack discussion I could find on the Appliance forum was 2011, two years ago.

Thanks in advance for your help. I always assumed I'd get a self-clean, but since I've gone vegetarian, no need for the rotisserie, and I don't clean the oven often enough to make Easy-Off versus push-a-button the big issue. The racks, however, could be a deciding factor.
