Sealing Travertine in shower

txjoyceOctober 9, 2012

I'm confused about sealing tile. We used travertine tile for our shower and bathroom floor. The contractor sealed the floor of the shower, but not the walls - initially he said just the grout had to be sealed.

I thought all the tile in the shower(walls) had to be sealed. I just want to get it right. thanks

We used Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus (seals, but not enhance) on our Travertine showers (walls and floor), as well as Travertine floors on the main level.
