Hardwood floor in powder room?

Would it be a big mistake to use hardwood in the bathroom?

We've had hardwood in our powder room for 12 years and it looks great. No shower though, just a toilet and sink with vanity. No problems at all. You should be fine.

I put hardwoods in my master bath and I love it. It has a Swedish finish, nearly impervious to water. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Yay! Thanks for the feedback. It is going to look better with a continuous floor. I'll look into that Swedish finish.

Same here - the entire downstairs was hardwood including the powder room.

Ditto - hardwood in the powder room and laundry room for 12 years. Never a problem and very comfortable on even the coldest day.
