Off the beaten path in NYC?
We're going up to NY for Nathan's graduation in May and are trying to plan what to do. The thing is, we've now been there multiple times so we've done most of the touristy stuff. And the touristy stuff we haven't done, Nathan doesn't want to do since he has lived there for four years.
We will be there for a week and in between the ceremonies (three separate ones!) and helping him pack & ship home his belongings, we'll have ample free time to fill.
So far, we are taking another food tour (love those!) - NoLIta this time, walking around Central Park, doing Dim Sum at Jing Fong, and taking the NBC studio tour, which, surprisingly enough, none of us has ever done.
Of course we'll see some shows - TKTS always gets my patronage so we decide on what plays to see the day of. But if you have any recommendations on that I'll be interested.
The main thing though, is what off-the-beaten-path, natives-know-about-it-but-visitors-don't, betha-never-woulda-thought-of-this-but-you'll-love-it kind of stuff can you recommend?
Any ideas welcome!! Thanks!
