Kitchen Aid Double Wall Ovens PreHeating

jln1980August 26, 2012

We have a new Kitchen Aid Double Wall and i would like some feedback. It is taking 14-15 min to preheat the ovens to 350 is that normal? What are you seeing on the wolf ovens?

15 minutes sounds about average. Were your previous ovens much quicker than that? If you're using your oven to bake it's usually recommended to preheat 15 - 20 minutes to allow the entire oven to reach temp. Remember the pre-heat tone merely signals when the part of the oven where the temperature sensor is located has reached the set temp. But that doesn't mean the entire oven mass has reached that point.
