Bathroom sink help...

socomAugust 1, 2013

We are remodeling our kid's bathroom that has a 72" vanity. I would like to use rectangular sinks. The inner basin is 20.5" wide. Is that too big for this vanity size? How much distance between sinks is recommended for a vanity of this size?

You want to have 15" to the center of the drain from the wall for elbow room. That means if the vanity touches the wall the sink could start 5 inches from the end of the vanity. (5+10-1/4) So 5 + 20.5 = 25.5 x 2 sinks = 51, which leaves 21 in between for counter space. That should work.
