Dress-up for your stemware, not elegant, but fun

oldalgebraDecember 13, 2013

Last spring I hosted an Hawaiian Wedding Shower.
I dressed up the Dollar Tree water goblets with a pink hibiscus.

I found a picture of an hibiscus on the internet and printed it in color. After cutting it out, I used white glue to adhere it to the glass. Just make sure to put them "below lip level" and get glue on all the edges. They don't move!

The picture soaks right off. Some even float off in the sink water before you get around to washing them.

I'm doing the same with my water goblets this Christmas.

Admittedly, this is not for the formal table, but it can bring color to some rather plain glasses.

What a cute idea, and nice its temporary so you can redo the glasses for any holiday.

Your Christmas table looks pretty!

OA, that's a really good idea for marking glasses to be distinctive when you have a crowd! TFS!

Your Hawaiian themed table is so pretty.
Using removable decorations on the stems is such a good idea.
Then they can be changed for any occasion.

Cool idea & I liked the reminder of adding below the 'lip line.' ;-) Jeanne S.
