can I 'fill out a form' on pdf without downloading a new program

ilmbgMarch 9, 2012

I want to copy a form with my old HP1610, then fill out the form on the computer- do I need to download a program like 'PDF Creator', or might I already have something in my HP Mini? I went through the programs, but nothing jumped out at me. It would have to jump very high.

Thanks

Instead of scanning the form as a .pdf, scan it as a .rtf (RICH TEXT FORMAT). You should be able to select this under SCAN DOCUMENT SETTINGS. Then open the .rtf file with your word processor and edit as needed. After editing, save it as a .doc if you wish and then print-fax-email as needed or you can convert to .pdf if needed by using a free online pdf converter.
