It's June 2014. How's your build? Part 2
It is the night of the full June moon tonight, the night that is called the "honeymoon". My art niche is done and after months of waiting, we are in the sweet spot where things are finally falling together. Kitchen cabs are stained. Most of the walls are painted. Contracters of old are poking their heads in to check things out. John the Framer came by today. So did Terry the Carpenter. It's like the family coming into the waiting room to see what the baby is going to look like.
All the stuff that was supposed to start this week... well, it will start next week. Tile guys will do something tomorrow, and my slabs are firmly nestled in their forest bed out in the middle of the woods at the fabricator's. I will take pictures of the niche tomorrow, but for now, here are some other pics.
Lazy gray popping on white trim stacked on stained baseboards.
