Product Key Card(?)

luis_prMarch 17, 2013

I was price comparison shopping on MS Office 2013 Pro using price comparison sites and saw the the term 'product key card' used sometimes, as in "Product Details of Microsoft Office Professional 2013 w/ Product Key Card". What does that mean? It does not appear always. Why is the term used sometimes only? TIA!

That would be the umpteen digit/letter combination on the sticker that comes with the computer for the Operating system you have on it..so each issuance of an operating sticker comes with its own Product Key..There should be one on your desktop/laptop(on the bottom)

A basic Google search using the keywords "Microsoft product key card" (sans quotes) will provide many informational responses for your review at your leisure.
