In Trouble (again) Registry?
I'm in trouble again ~ I've had problems logging on for over a month now and am at my wit's end. If I dare to turn off, even 'sleep' or 'hibernate' it's HE77 to get back on again ~ I go thru everything - Bios; alt/control/delete; escape; f3, f9, f10, f2, etc.; Enter; even (on occasion) taking the battery out and putting it back & ocassionally by some magic combination of above, it starts up and for the most part works perfectly.
I have a HP Pavilion dv9820us Notebook PC
Windows Vista Premium Home Edition (version 6)
Internet Explorer(8)& FireFox(3.6.13)
Also, ocassionally I get this message:
Registry Mechanic is missing core application files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Registry Mechanic\Data\map.dat
C:\Program Files (x86)\Registry Mechanic\Data\values.dat
C:\Program Files (x86)\Registry Mechanic\Data\keys.dat
Can anyone help???
~ I'm just about ready to throw this thing into the fireplace (after smashing it with a hammer)!
I would REALLY would appreciate it -
P.S. the computer is only about 1 1/2 yrs old. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Thank you! (I'm calm again)
