When attempting to watch videos on Youtube, the audio always works fine. But about half the time, the picture does not show up, just a black screen. I use Firefox as browser.
Is there something I need to add or delete? Some video player that is needed?

Perhaps I should have done a more extensive search first. Some of the suggested fixes did not work and the boxes to be unchecked were very difficult to find. The problem in my case was that YouTube had me in "HTML5 Trial". I found it by Googling the term. Never requested the enrollment. Checking the box to get out of the trial seem to be the cure.
