Shower Panels

destruct05July 13, 2014

I am trying to do a simple shower upgrade, triggered by a leaking faucet. I came across shower panels.
It seemed an intriguing value, especially looking at the price. Granted, most panels come from brand names I did not hear before (Vigo, Fresca, Blue Ocean, Dcor Star). Does anyone have experiences with such panels?

They're kind of passing out of popularity these days. We considered doing one a few years back, but with most of them you can't use everything at once--you have to choose between overhead and the body sprays, for example, except on the very high end models.

In the end we decided just to go for an adjustable hand shower instead after we considered how often we'd really use the other doodads.

But I believe Vigo has a fairly decent reputation if you decide to pursue it.

I think they're pretty neat for what you pay. A full custom installation would probably run you a lot more.

Seems that you can turn on the center ones at the same time.. But I don't seem to see them ALL on at the same time.

I would recommend Onyx Collection shower panels. Easy to cut, easy to clean, and a great company to deal with!
