cleaning Subzero condenser coils, how????

jaansuJune 24, 2013

Where are they? Does a Subzero have coils? The manual only talks about removing the upper grill to clean around the condenser itself. In fact, I can't get near the condenser since there is a protective box surrounding the condenser and fan. But where does the heat exchange occur? What am I missing?

I can't get underneath either and I hope they are not in the back. Any advice is welcome from other Subzero owners.

It's up at top and you have to remove the upper grill. Use a hose type vacuum to clean the side away from the fan. the right side ( The fan pulls air through the condenser )

There a several videos on YouTube showing how to do it.

If you have a 700 series or an All Fridge - All Freezer, that stuff will be on the bottom near the floor. With the 700 series you'll need to remove your cabinetry toekick first.
