Wand-style handshowers

axxis_roseJune 2, 2012

I'm looking for a sleek, minimalist handshower and have been wondering about the wand-shaped ones. I did a search and couldn't find any discussions about this. Do they work well? I'm looking for one for a kid's tub and one in a shower stall on an adjustable rail to supplement a fixed showerhead. I'd like something that can rinse well that doesn't look bulky. Several salespeople have told me these wands have a weak spray with little water output because of the shape and size. Any opinions would be much appreciated! If you like a particular handshower I'd love to hear about it.

I used a wand shaped showerhead in a hotel recently. There was more than adequate water pressure, however, I prefer my showerhead to have an adjustable spray, and this one did not.

That's helpful to know, thanks. That might suffice for the kid's bath, where it's mainly for rinsing their hair. One of them has very thick hair and I was concerned about water pressure.
