Recommend wall mount faucet for undermount sink in 30-inch vanity

annkathrynJune 27, 2012

I'm looking for a wall mounted faucet for a very small full bathroom. The vanity will be 30" and I'm planning to have a small undermount sink. I'd like one with a single lever rather than two for hot/cold. I'm looking for a contemporary style, maybe something like this:

Are wall-mount faucets used more for vessel sinks? Should I be concerned about splashing?

i got these hansgrohe faucets for my master bath, not installed yet. I thought they felt very heavy and sturdy. as far as splashing, I have heard that you don't want to mount them too high above the sink which can cause splashing. I am mounting mine at 42 inches for a 36 inch vanity height. i can let you know in a couple of months how they turn out!

Here is a link that might be useful: hansgrohe wall faucet

ask the faucet company waht GPM you get from the faucet's aerator / flow restrictor. Otherwise you will be fine. Single handle mixer is fine. Less flow is better than more, in a bathroom.

Thanks for the advice. I'm using a Hansgrohe shower head so maybe I'll look more carefully at what the brand has in the way of wall mounted faucets.

Love our wall mount - Kohler.

Pay attention to spout length. My water stream hits the center of the sink drain - just dumb luck I suppose when installing. Faucetdirect.com search allows you to pick spout length.

Was drilling out the mirror a necessity to have the mirror not be uncomfortably too high?
