You guys saved me $300 on my cooktop!

Thanks to reading up here I was able to save $300 on my new cooktop. I saw mention here of ordering from Goedekers. They had what I wanted at a good price. The shipping time was a little long though. I went to my local chain appliance company (not a mom and pop, they've got lots of stores) this morning and they wanted $300 more. I had my iPad with me and showed them the listing. They hemmed and hawed and said they could only price match physical stores. I thanked them for their time and said, "I'd rather do business with you, I'm willing to pay more in the way of taxes and I'm buying the warranty but I can't pay an extra $300 on top of that." They matched the price.
I never bargain. Ever. I'm still shocked that I did it successfully! If course I wasn't bluffing either, I'd have walked if they couldn't give me the price.

My new induction cooktop will be ready for my contractor to pick up tomorrow!
