New range soon, ? difference is radiant vs. ceramic glass burner

I'm looking at a new freestanding range. Both the ones I am looking at are Frigidaires. The only difference on the Lowe's website is that one has "ceramic glass" listed as the burner type and the other has "radiant" listed as its burner type. Both are smooth top ranges. So, what is the difference in the two types of burners? I kind of thought they were the same but I'm ignorant in this area so thought I'd come to the pros for help. Thanks, Greg

It sounds to me like one is describing the material and one is describing the type of heat conduction...have you checked the manufacturer's or other appliance websites to see if you could find better or more info?
