how do you lock up your medications?

toadangelApril 12, 2010

I have been trying to figure out a way to lock up medications (to protect from teens who may be visiting) but in a way that's not cumbersome to just grab some when you need it. I prefer to keep them all in the bathroom.

I finally found a locking nutone recessed med cabinet that I may go with, but wanted to see what other ideas are out there.

Have you seen this product? I don't own one, but I am aware of the product because I have seen my school's PTA selling them as a fundraiser. It can be installed in an existing medicine cabinet or vanity drawer.

It can be purchased through the Med Safe website.

DH is on narcotics. We finally bought a small safe at Home Depot, not just to protect invited guests, but so that uninvited burglars wouldn't find out our secret and keep coming back.

It's a pain in the neck getting stuff out, but we just fill pill boxes once a week and keep a small supply of each out for emergencies.

The options above look interesting.
