Anyone use vinegar as a rinse aid in Bosch DW?

mrs-mjtMay 11, 2011

I've been using white vinegar successfully for a few weeks in my Bosch DW but wondered if it will adversely affect the stainless steel tub if used over a long period of time? Any other substitutes you recommend for Jet Dry that are more "natural"? Thanks for your input!

Info I found using Google says white vinegar is used to clean stainless steel. Vinegar will prevent scum and calcium deposits.

I personally have used white vinegar in my porcelain interior dishwasher for many years with no problems. I also use white vinegar in agitator type older washing machine for years and the interior is free of soap scum in and around the agitator, clean, clean.
