Best way to REALLY clean laminate floor (lots of animal grime)
Have laminate floor in kitchen and I haven't found the best way yet to REALLY get it clean. My Swiffer Sweeper does a good job of "vacuuming" up most of the animal hair (2 German Shepherds and one long-hair tabby cat) but after that I don't know what to do to get it clean. Bought one of those steam mops and at first I thought it was working great, but after the floor dried I saw dirt swirls on the floor--in short it only seemed to move the dirt around, not really get it up like a mop and bucket used to on my old vinyl floor. Then tried Bona hardwood floor cleaner and Bona mop that goes with it, and while I like the product, trigger-spray is very tiring and again, it leaves a lot of the dirt behind after the floor dries. Suggestions please as to how you all keep your laminate floors clean and, if you can, keep them shiny looking. Thanks.
