Are Trade-Wind vents/hoods still made in USA?

Circus PeanutApril 3, 2013

In the market for a range hood insert and recall that Trade-Wind used to be made in the USA. I can't find the information online; anyone know the scoop, or other brands not made in China? Falmec is still made in Italy, I believe?

Thanks!

They are I believe, circuspeanut. Under the name of http://umiphx.com/. Big on custom hoods and liners.

Not sure why I have a Trade-Wind V1000 external blower on my roof, a vent hood and it's housing unit. It seems at some time Trade Wind and Thermador were together-the site says 1990's, but I'm quite sure my old items date prior.

Prizer Hoods are made in Reading PA, and mine is truly a work of art. Yes, Trade Wind was once part of Thermador, not sure when that dissolved.
