Handshower Placement

dcwesleyMarch 11, 2013

We will have two rainshower heads in a 3x5 shower. We are also adding a handheld shower. We have been discussing if we would rather have it at the door end (for easy rinsing of the shower), or at the "far" end - where we are considering placing a teak bench.

Not sure why door end makes rinsing shower any easier? I always use it while still in shower anyways... Obviously, you still want to be able to use handshower while sitting on bench (shaving legs), so keep that in mind. However, assuming your teak bench is movable, guess you can always slide it forward when rinsing legs?

I will be in same boat soon, so thanks for reminding me about position of hand-shower...have never had a shower big enough for a bench before...so looking forward to not having to crunch awkwardly down on floor! LOL
