crafts magazine- april issue poly clay eggs

ArtsyCraftsyMarch 25, 2002

there's a couple nice ideas for easter eggs using poly clay. Incised faux ivory, marbled, & millefiori with very simple easy to folllow instructions for beginners. Also a cute woven poly clay Easter basket for kids (of all ages) to make.

(And nice instructions/pics for Yasutomo's washi eggs)

I just got that in the mail today.....especially liked the faux ivory one that appeared to be carved. The clay eggs were nice too.
Going to have to get out to an art's supply place and get some washi paper. I have tried origami paper and I guess it's not thin enough. I covered and egg and had some bumps. I figure since the washi has fibers, it must lay smoother.
