Unfortunately the work space in the kitchen is limited to the corners of the sink and range counters.
Why not add this to your original post?
Why would a "great room" have double doors look to and opening on the driveway? Will the driveway be landscaped to look like a patio and never have vehicles in the driveway?
Will guests, sales people and vendors visiting the house be able to look through the large windows of the "great room" and see inside?
Would it make more sense to have the "great room" at the back of the house opening to views and outdoor areas that focus on nature and opportunities for privacy for the family?
I don't understand the motivation or concept for this plan.
