GE Monogram and Profile induction difference?

kknoxMarch 7, 2013

The 36" GE Monogram and Profile induction cooktops seem to be exactly the same except for the style of the burner outline ring color and button shapes.

I looked at all specs and compared user manuals and can't find a difference. Why is Monogram $1000 more?

Any comments on Profile?

I did the same comparison on the 30" models and concluded the same thing. Unless you want the light/reflective color instead of black that's an (even more expensive) option only on the Monogram, can't justify the higher price at all.
