...that drive you crazy sometimes.

Daughter has a secondhand, 2dr 94 ford aspire. The driver side door doesn't fully close unless it is given a hard slam. The door seems to swing just fine w/ no obvious sag to the door when it is opened. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks,

RM

Two probables are the car as sagged some or the hinges or bushings in the hinges are worn.

Cheap easy thing to try is adjust the striker. That's the post like thing that sticks out of the door jamb that the door latch catches on. Unscrew it a little and move it down and/or out just a little and see if that helps.
