schluter rondec metal bullnose strips

hamsterFebruary 20, 2008

Bill, I see you have used this. What is your (or anyones) opinion of it? The bullnose that goes with the tile I picked out is pretty spendy. Weighing all my options. Please advise.

thanks

Diane

Hi Diane--

It's a good product for times when there's no other alternatives. That's not to say it looks bad, because it really doesn't. It's just not my taste. To me, it looks out of place. Of course, this is YOUR home we're talking about, and not mine. :-)

thanks Bill for confirming what I was thinking. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet.

Hmmmm. well, my tile has no bullnose that goes with it, so I am using the Schluter. I have 18" tile and accenting with mosaics and I actually like the idea of using a slim, sleek edging that won't distract from the look of the mosaic.

So, while I didn't have a better alternative, I think I'm going to be happy with it.

But then again, my taste is a bit different!
