My 97 kia sephia has strated to overheat all of a sudden, we didnt have a problem with it until we changed the belts on the car, and now we cant figure out why it is overheating.

Check the routing of the belt. On some vehicles, the belt can be misrouted causing the water pump to rotate backwards. I don't know if your vehicle is one of those, but check it anyway. There may be a label under the hood that shows the proper placement of the belt. This label may be on the cover over the top of the radiator or on the underside of the hood. Also, there may be a figure in the owner's manual showing belt routing.
