New microwave blew fuse when I plugged it in. ?

pump_toadFebruary 4, 2013

Just bought a Hamilton Beach microwave today and it blew a fuse when I plugged it in. I am just replacing the microwave I had in the same space so can't figure out why that happened. I am almost afraid to try it again and am thinking of returning. What could have caused this problem?

a quick look at the reviews over at amazon for the various hamilton beach microwave indicate lots of electrical faults out of the box.

might want to look at a different microwave
