Can anyone provide any information on this lamp?

A picture of more of the lamp might help. Looks like someone adapted a copper bowl as a shade....is there a base?
post-1960s hippie style shade, made from a copper bowl with wire-twisted baubles as ornaments.
The twisted-wire baubles look to me like post-modernism handcraft. I see things like this at large craft shows (as in studio craft done by artists who make things like jewelry, metalwork, glasswork and bench-made furniture)There is a store nearby that still sells things in this vein--they started sometime in the late 80s.
Here is an image of the base.

Base is a chunk of wood, with copper plumbing parts attached. It's definitely in the "craft fair" category.
Thanks for your input...the base is actually a type of colored glass. Any idea of the year made?
I would say that it is probably contemporary to the last 25 years or so until the present...there is a store a block away from me that has things of a similar aesthetic on display now.
