4fiberglass chairs

mollyannchrisDecember 16, 2012

I have aquired 4 fiberglass chairs and all my research is pointing to them being Herman Miller chairs. The tags are gone and they do need to be cleaned up. But are in good shape otherwise. My question is how do I figure out if they are actually Herman Miller Chairs and if so how do I find out their value??

I don't think they are Herman Miller. At least they are not the Eames Molded Plastic/Fiberglass chair in production since the late 1940s.

The slight "crease" introduced at the roll of the arm and the squared off back are different than the Herman Miller shell chairs.

Is that rust/corrosion on the bases? Are they plated nickel?

They look more like these, which are imprinted EST on the bottom of the shell
